Blocked Voicemails iPhone
Although you have the option to block certain people from calling you on an iPhone, you can still receive their voicemails. Unfortunately, you cant block someone from sending you voicemails. However, these blocked voicemails wont appear with your other voicemails but they will be in the blocked contacts folder.
Make sure that the blocked persons info is on your contacts, so that you can recognize voicemails from them without having to actually listen to them. Any users in your blocked list that are using FaceTime or Messages to reach you will not get a notification telling them that they are blocked. If the contacts or numbers you have blocked text you, you will not get them.
The phone number or contact will not get any notification about having the call or text blocked. If a blocked user does decide to leave a message, it is hidden under the voicemails and you will not receive any notifications. On your end, you will see a special folder called Blocked Messages in the voicemail inbox (scroll down to the bottom of your voicemail messages list) if any blocked contacts leave messages, but you will not receive any notifications about their calls.
Blocked callers can still drop a voicemail message, but you will not know who made the call. If someone blocks you, the call goes directly to voicemail, and your voicemail messages go directly into your blocked section.
While blocked calls might not leave a caller ID or a message, you can still control blocked voicemails. Unfortunately, blocking a phone number does not stop a caller from leaving a voicemail message on your iPhone. When you block a number on an Android phone, your phone does not ring when a person calls you, but the caller is still allowed to leave voicemails.
When you call a number, if all you hear is one ring, and then you are taken to a voicemail message after ringing once, there is a good chance that you were blocked. If you have been hearing the same thing for 3-4 days, and a number has rang just one time before being directed to a voicemail, you are certainly blocked.

If you called, it either rings once, or does not and goes straight to voicemail, it is possible that you were blocked. Based on what I know (because this has happened to me before), if you have no voicemail, you can still tell if the blocked number is calling you, as it will still show up on your most recent calls. If you are unsure, you could try calling your voicemail box to simply see if you have any new messages.
Then, you need to head into your voicemail app and tap on the “Blocked messages” tab. Once you set up visual voicemail, you can go into your hidden Blocked Messages inbox to see if you have any messages waiting for you. Next, you can swipe down all the way to the bottom of your list of voicemails, and tap the Blocked Messages voicemail inbox.
Now, under that section, you can review, view, access, read transcripts, listen, share, save, and delete any voicemail messages that are dropped from the blocked number on your iPhone device. So, you can feel free to access, check, listen, read the transcript, save, share, and even remove any voicemails dropped by a blocked number to iPhone. Just as you can share voicemails and save your own voicemails to your iPhone, you can share and save blocked voicemails left by a blocked caller or blocked number as well.
Despite blocking the contact or the number that is calling you, you can still see any voicemails left on your iPhone from someone whose phone has been blocked, as shown in this tutorial. Yes, it is true, if you are blocking a phone number, the number can still leave you voicemails on your iPhone, you will just not receive notifications for them, but you can scroll and listen to voicemails left on your locked caller on your phone.

You can block contacts or numbers via Messages, FaceTime, Mail, and Phone apps. The person blocking you can still reach out to you via third-party messaging apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, or Telegram. Following any of the methods above will show you any blocked numbers and emails on the iPhone. Just like how you see blocked emails, you can see a block list within the Phone app.

The Call Protect service will automatically block known spam numbers, and you can block specific numbers from leaving a voicemail.
Blocked callers can still leave you voicemails, but will be sent directly to your Blocked Messages voicemail inbox, with no notifications and no ringing. If you only hear one ring before the call is routed to voicemail, and the unusual pattern of rings continues, it is likely that you are being blocked. Can I stop incoming calls without blocking them?
In order to stop calls, launch the relevant mobile app, then click the “menu overflow button” (three dots) in the top right corner of the display (generally, for Android devices, but for other devices, it is different). Then hit Settings, and then select Calls. Select the “call barring” option from the calls menu.

What do blocked people hear when they call you?
The blocked caller will not hear anything if your Call Block option is set to Block Calls since they will be terminated right away. The banned caller will be able to get through to your voicemail box if your call block option is set to Send Calls to Voicemail. They are not informed that they have been blocked.
