Close Window Ipad
You can close all the opened tabs on your iPad. All you need to do is you should double-click the home button to access the app switcher. Check the tabs you want to close. For closing multiple apps, you should hold several apps preview and then swipe up to close them at the same time.
Press and hold down on an application window, and swipe up (without lifting a finger from the screen) to dismiss it from your screen. Slide to either the left or right edges of the screen, depending on what app you wish to quit. Decide which app you want to close, then tap on the splitter (the black line between two apps).
Tap the divider of an app (the little vertical line) and drag to left or right to adjust window size. Your slide-in window can be moved to the left or right side of the screen by dragging. To bring up the Control Center, rather than your hidden Slide Over window, begin by placing your finger at the top edge of the screen, at the top-right, then slide down.
Starting with an open app in regular view Start by slowly sliding your finger upwards from the bottom of your screen, until you see your Dock. If you swipe too fast or too far up, you will only close the individual apps, so swipe slow and only just long enough for your Dock to show up. Open your primary app in full-screen view, and swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to bring up the dock.
Open the first app, which automatically opens into a full-screen view, and swipe up from the bottom of your screen for the Dock panel to show up. You should gently drag the Dock bar until it floats above the bottom of your app. Select the app from your Dock by pressing and dragging to the edge of the screen, either to the right or left.
Swipe up from the bar on the bottom to bring up the Recently Used apps menu. You can see what apps are running by either tapping twice on the Home button, or by swiping upwards from the bottom of the screen (depending on your iPads model). You can swipe up from the bottom, or use the app switcher — iPadOS 15 — to view any currently active Slide Over windows.
You can also dismiss a Split Screen function by clearing either tab in your Recently Used apps menu. If you do not want to close or hide a window, though, merging it into an existing window does, so that Split Screen is closed, making it one window with several tabs. Once the tabs are combined, Safaris split screen window on the iPad is closed, and you are returned to a normal, single view of browsing in Safari on your iPad. There is a simple way to close all tabs on your iPhone or iPads Safari browser without visiting each one separately.

Stay on top of your browsing activities by closing all of your older Safari tabs all at once using these tips for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. When you cannot bring up Safari to close all open tabs on iPhone and iPad, clean up your Safari cache of site data. Unlike with iPhone and iPad, you cannot close all open Safari tabs with one tap on Mac. To close all the Safari tabs on an iPhone, you can open the Settings app, scroll down, and choose Safari.
Tap on the small, faint gray (X) button within Safari to close this Safari tab. This closes all the tabs you have open in Safari, leaving behind those on which you opened a menu. You can also select Close All Tabs if you do not want to leave a tab open in the split screen view in Safari for iPad, this will also quit out of Safari split view for iPad, closing tabs on the selected split panels.
Once you have swiped across to the screen edge and removed the left-side tab, The Other App expands into its own full-screen view. Otherwise, the tab you wish to dismiss will hover over the other window — this kind of viewing is called Slide Over. If you want to keep a floating window when changing the background, full-screen application, just pull up your dock and tap on your new application.
To dismiss Split View, tap the multitasking button on the Safari window that you wish to retain, and tap the Full Screen button. The other tabs will automatically close, and you will be back in a regular single-window view of the Safari browser. To prevent opening the split-screen function when browsing the Web on your iPads Safari browser, or in any other application, make a note of the triple-dot button in the middle-top part of the screen.

The method of getting back to full-screen on an iPad from a split-screen view of a Safari app is the same as it was earlier: Simply tap and drag a black splitter panel on either side of the screen. In iPadOS 11+ and the newest variants of iPad, Apple has added a Slide Over feature, allowing a third app to be slid over the two currently open ones in the Split Screen. Once on the App Expose screen, you can navigate through several open windows, close windows, and open new windows. To do this, just swipe up from a window card to close it, just like how you would swipe up from an app switcher screen to close the app. To locate the tab you are opening, on the bottom of your screen, tap on the tab switcher.
