If you changed your user name previously, you must ask for the change through Clubhouse Support. If, after using Clubhouse for some time, you find that your username does not reflect who you are anymore, or what you represent, you can always have the username changed. You will be able to change a username (once) only to a new one if you get access to Clubhouse through securing an invite. You are free to pick any username you want in the Clubhouse app, and can change them whenever you feel like needing a new one.
Like with my legal names, there are two different ways to change a username within Clubhouse. When you first join the new, voice-powered social network, you get to pick a real name and username, but that is also something you can change. If you are going to use The New Voice-Based Social Network for any length of time, be sure you pick a good name, because there is only a single change allowed. If you tap your real name, it will bring up a new message, from which you can change either of the names on your Clubhouse.

Clubhouse says that their application is meant for real names, so if you did not add a real name during the setup of your profile, you can change it anytime, as long as you have not changed that section for some time. Head over to this Clubhouse Social App support page, and create a ticket for changing my user name. Otherwise, your only option is to delete the Clubhouse Social App account, and re-create it under the preferred user name, having changed your Clubhouse username twice. Yes, Clubhouse users are allowed to change the usernames from one Account to another, with no additional confirmations such as Email or phone verification.
It should also be noted that while asking to remove an account in Clubhouse, the user cannot use the same username or telephone number for 30 days. Under Clubhouse terms, every user may only have one account, with only one username and phone number. After changing a name on the Clubhouse, your Username on the Clubhouse will be removed from reserved and used mode, and other members of the Clubhouse may use your old username. If anyone has reserved the Username for themselves, the Clubhouse gives you no guarantee that your new Username will be what you wanted.

If you change the Clubhouse username twice, you have to cancel your account and make a new one using the new username. Of course, even if you do opt-in for the third time, you cannot change the Clubhouse username, unless you delete your account and re-create your new one, in which case you cannot make a new account for 30 days. Your first Clubhouse username is not permanent: You can change it if you wish.
