Does Screen Recording Record Audio
Yes, screen recording on an iPhone or iPad typically records both video and audio by default, including the audio from the device’s built-in microphone and any other sounds played through the device’s speakers. However, the exact behavior of screen recording can vary depending on the specific device, iOS version, and settings.
Screen recordings do not include the sounds of your system on your recordings, but you can choose to include recorded sound from your devices microphone. You can enable the microphone if you also want audio recorded from your screen. If necessary, you can enable microphone for recording the sounds of the device as well.
If you want to record sounds coming from your computer, such as beeps and boops that you hear, choose the System Audio option. You can also record the system sound (that is, the sounds coming out of the speakers). You can either record only the audio coming out of the iPhones internal mic, or you can record both your iPhones sound and your external mic.
Screenrec can record the screen of your computer with the audio coming from either your microphone and/or the computers sound. When taking screen shots, sound can be recorded either from your systems speakers or your microphone, with no extra setup required. To begin video recording, browse screen options by clicking the Sun icon. Once you have stopped recording, you will be asked whether or not you would like to save the video in your Photos app. You can edit a recorded video just like any other video in the Photos app; and since screen recordings will show when you started and stopped the recording, you will want to cut out the first few seconds and last few seconds of your video.
When you want to end the recording, tapping on the blue Recording panel will bring up a dialog box asking you whether you would like to stop recording (Figure C); you can also stop recording by going back into the Control Center and tapping on the Recording button again. Long-press the Record button in Control Center, then tap on the microphone button that appears to toggle audio for the video. When you are ready to stop recording, tap on the red watch or panel on top of the screen, and then tap Stop, or swipe across to bring up Control Center, and tap on the Record button again.
