Apples truly wireless AirPods Pro are the best wireless headphones for the iPhone that we have tested. When people ask us for our top recommendations, Apples Airpods Pro and the Sony WF-1000XM3 are the best options, hands down. If you want the best headphones for the iPhone, do not think too hard, most people should simply go with AirPods Pro. Taking the simplicity, versatility, and solid connection into consideration, the Apples new AirPods Pro is, unsurprisingly, the best iPhone earbuds on the market.

If you already have several iPhone products, AirPods is the next logical buy to integrate seamlessly into your everyday routine. Apple has retired their EarPods, rather fragile buds that once came bundled in a free package, so it is an excellent time to update to a pair of headphones that do your iPhone justice. Of course, there is no precedent for Apple giving away AirPods along with a new device, but fans can always dream. With headphone jacks gone for quite some time, you may wonder whether or not iPhone SE 3 would ship with AirPods, and that is all you need to know.

The first-gen iPhone SE actually included a headphone jack to listen to audio. Even the iPhone SE, Apples answer to a cheap handset, does not include a headphone jack. Apple has not released a new iPhone with a headphone jack for years, and has begun removing them from devices such as the iPad Pro. While there is no headphone jack on the iPhone SE 2, users still have a lot of options for listening.

Like every other smartphone, the iPhone SE 2 works well with wireless headphones – in particular, headphones made by Apple. Whether you pick up a pair of AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, Beats Fit Pro, or Beats Studio Buds, the pair of AirPods 3s is going to give you the best wireless listening experience with the iPhone SE 2. Klipschs latest releases are not anywhere near the best headphones, but they do sound quite good, and no one plays more comfortably with an iPhone than this Apple-made pair. The lightweight design, as well as the fact that the headsets cord can rest over your top ear to keep it from hanging low, means that they are excellent for travel — a trait you would like to see in better iPhone headphones.

The PALOVUE comes with three pairs of silicone noise-canceling super-comfortable headphones pads, sized small, medium, and large, for perfect fit. They come with a Lightning cable to connect to any iPhone. The Pioneer Rayz Pro is laptop-friendly, thanks to the USB adapter, so you can use them with an iPhone, as well as your PC, making it able to do Lightning connections as well as USB connections. Plus, if you have a different pair of wired headphones that you prefer using, you can use the Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter to plug them into the iPhone SE 2.

There is no 3.5mm-to-Lightning adapter, so you will need to purchase one separately if you would like to use your older headphones. The 3.5mm audio jack works well with a headphone socket in my old Office iMac, but obviously iPads and iPhones do not have a headphone jack anymore, so if you want to use the Hi-X25BT with a mobile device, then you still need to get the 3.5mm adapter either from Apple or from another company like Belkin. Fortunately, new headphones are available now with USB-C connectivity for wired audio, so you can pick up a pair of headphones with Lightning or USB-C connectivity, depending on what iPhone or iPad you own.

The battery charges via a Lightning connector, which is bad, but considering that we are looking at iPhone headphones of the highest quality, chances are good you will have some Lightning connectors lying around. The cases charge with the lightning connector, which is a bummer, but Apple loves keeping things in its ecosystem. Unless you have the iPhone 11, you have no purpose for this other than to charge the case.

EarbudsPrices
Hi-X25BT$399
Apples AirPods Max $549
Sonys WH-1000XM4$348
PALOVUE$36
The best Earbuds you will ever find and their prices.

Available in black or white, the Hi-X25BT costs $399/PS349), making it one of the most expensive headphones in the category — but that is still $150/PS200 cheaper than Apples AirPods Max ($549/PS549), which does not offer a wired option (unless you purchase the separate Lightning adapter for PS35/$35). The cost is a tough pill to swallow, but if you need noise-cancelling headphones that work smoothly with an iPhone device, maybe the Apple AirPods Max is the better choice. The Apple AirPods Max is the first-ever noise-cancelling, supraaural headphones for iPhone, and Apple is sure that you are going to wish that you had bought an AirPods Pro.

This hybrid noise-cancelling system competes with that of Sonys WH-1000XM4 and Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, iPhones primary competitors in the ANC headset space. If you are looking for the best mix of audio and noise cancellation on an iPhone headset, we would go with Bose QuietComfort earbuds. That said, these headphones are bound to satisfy the majority of users looking for an iOS-compatible headset, and are also some of the best true-wireless headphones we have tested.

If you are looking for headphones that support aptx, aptx HD, or LDAC, then headphones that support aptx are fine, but will not do a lot for you on the hunt to find the best headphones for the iPhone. What sets the AirPods Pro apart from the pack is the fact that iPhone includes silicone tips for your ears, as well as software-based (iOS-only) fit testing for the tips, so that you can make sure that you are finding a proper fit. Add Apples own proprietary H1 chip, which is found on AirPods, and you get Powerbeats Pro.

With its excellent holdability and ergonomic design, PALOVUE allows passive noise isolation, so that unwanted noise is blocked out so that you can enjoy the audio you choose to your fullest. Otium features ergonomic designs, so that you get maximum comfort, and earbuds remain securely positioned. You can still use conventional headphones with the standard 3.5mm audio plug on an iPhone or iPad — though you will need an appropriate adapter or cable with the 3.5mm plug on the headphones and a lightning or USB-C plug on the Apple device.

Does iPhone SE 2022 have earphone jack?

This means that the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack on the iPhone SE 3 shouldn’t come as a surprise. Since the iPhone 7, every iPhone has been sold without the legacy port. This applies to all iPhone models up to the iPhone 13, including the iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone SE 2, and all others.

What earbuds do you use with iPhone SE?

Like any other smartphone, the iPhone SE 2 works well with wireless headphones – specifically those made by Apple. No matter which AirPods you choose, whether an AirPods 3, a pair of AirPods Pro, a couple of Beats Fit Pro or a pair of Beats Studio Buds, they’ll provide you with the best wireless listening experience possible on the iPhone SE 2.

Do all earbuds work with iPhone?

Although these chips make pairing headphones with your Apple devices much simple, they are unnecessary, and any Bluetooth headphones will do. Wireless is extra if you have an iPhone, but it is much easier because newer iPhones do not have a headphone jack.
