There are a few steps to follow to get emojis on text messages. Open any Messaging app like Telegram, WhatsApp, SnapChat or Instagram. Tap on an existing message or draft, or start a new message. Select the emoji icon which is situated on the lower left on the screen. Select the emoji which you want to send.

You can also add an emoticon to your text messages using third-party keyboards. You can also download a third-party keyboard, such as SwiftKey, that predicts what emoji you will use next, based on previous emoji usage. Other messaging apps allow you to easily interact with other Android users and respond to texts using emojis. Another way to get new emojis on text messages in Android is to download zFont, a free app that lets you download emojis from other platforms.

To add emojis in text messages on an Android phone, you may want to first enable keyboard. With iOS 10 or higher, you can also add emojis in text messages simply by typing into a text box. Position the cursor over the text field you want to add the emoji.

Place the cursor in the place you would like to place the emoji, then click on the smiley face icon under the text. Now that emoji is enabled, you will notice the smiley face in the Spacebar right as you are typing the text. Once you click on an emoji you want, it will be added into your message as a sticker image, and Gboard will minimise Gboard. For Gboard, press an emoji, then swipe your finger upwards across emoji options, only releasing the tip of your finger when you are above the version you wish to add it to your message.
