You can delete an album on your iPhone easily. All you need to do is go to the albums and choose the photos that you want to delete. On the right top corner, you will see an option to delete or remove. Click on the remove option to delete the selected album from your iPhone.

Repeat the steps mentioned above to remove all other empty albums from the device if needed. The reason for this is when you delete a photo from an album, it is not deleted from your phone. Even when you remove a specific app, the related photo album remains.
