If you followed all of the techniques described here, you should be able to capture quick screenshots that are full-screen — including a full-page screenshot. Full-page screenshots can be useful, and having the tool built-in in iOS makes it easier when you want to pass along a screenshot of a webpage on Safari. Look no further, because in this article, we are going to talk about exactly how to capture full-page screenshots using Safaris web browser on the iPhone and iPad. In iOS 13 and higher, iPhones and iPads can take swipe-screenshots, which capture whole web pages, within Safari.

In addition to Safari, you can take full-screen screenshots in other Apple apps, such as Notes (when you are within a note), Mail (when you are within a single email), and the Files app (when you opened a PDF). If you would prefer a more flexible option for taking a screenshot on a device, you could make use of a third-party app. You can capture the scrolling screenshot using the Mojave hotkeys, QuickTime Player, Safari, and a number of third-party apps.

You can use the markup tool through the top-right icon to draw over the screenshot, and the sharing icon to share, copy, print, save to Dropbox, and more. Again, full-page screenshots work in Safari alone, so third-party browsers such as Chrome and Firefox will not do the trick, and neither do browsers built-in, such as those built-in in Reddit is App Store apps. You can also tap on the share icon to bring up a share sheet, where you can save the Screenshot to files or share it some other way.

It will take a few seconds for the image to finish processing, then you will be asked to confirm a filename and a location for its storage. Hit on the “Done” command button, and choose “Save PDF in files,” and choose a folder location, and click on the “Save” option.

This means that instead of just taking the portion of the webpage that is visible on the iPhones display, you will be able to take a screenshot of the whole page. This tutorial is intended for people who wish to capture a full screenshot of an entire web page, or one long — meaning, sections not fully visible on your screen. Getting a full-length screenshot of the length of the web page can be helpful for various reasons, whether you are creating a sliding mockup for a presentation, or recently purchased a type collection and wanted to capture a page showing the typographic samples from your newfound trove for future reference.

The short video below shows the process for taking a screenshot of the full page on the iPhone; capture a screenshot, tap the thumbnail, choose “Full page” in the card options, and then tap “Done” so that you can save the screenshot as a PDF to your device or somewhere else (you can even share it right from this screen).

Similar to Awesome Screenshot, Full Page Screen Capture is a Chrome on My Mac plugin that is incredibly simple to use. Simply install Full Page Screen Capture (heres a link to its extension page) in your Chrome browser, find a webpage you would like to capture, and click on the extensions icon.

On iOS devices, the third-party app is the best option to take screen shots on Safari because of useful features such as editing and sharing. By default, it has an option called Show floating thumbnails enabled, which places a small thumbnail preview of the screen you have just captured on the bottom-right of your screen, just like iOSs screenshot routine. Navigate to the desired web page within the Safari app, Snap away (screenshot) by pressing your Lock and Volume Up buttons at the same time, and then look out for your screenshot preview appearing in the bottom-left corner of your phones screen. Once you have seen your screenshot, tap on it, and you are taken to the screen, giving you image editing options (you will have options to trim the screenshot, tag it, add a signature, etc.). Once you are done editing, you will notice two options over your screenshot.
