Siri Suggestions Off
Your applications already have Siri Suggestions enabled by default. At any moment, you may disable them or modify their settings. Select an app by going to Settings > Siri & Search and scrolling down. Change the settings’ status. Deselect the Siri Suggestions checkbox in the list under “Search results” on the right-hand side of the screen.
You can easily turn off Siri suggestions from the Siri & Search menu of the Settings app, if you no longer wish to see those suggestions. It is a handy option, though, and if you would rather they did not show up there, then you can delete apps from Siri Suggestions from my iPhones Spotlight Screen. You can disable certain settings in the on home screen and on lock screen sections to get more control of the way Siri makes suggestions using those apps in iOS.
Apple makes it easy to turn off Siri suggestions on Home Screen, on Lock Screen, when searching, when sharing, and you can turn off Siri Activity on apps and widgets as well. You can disable the toggle button to disable Siri App Suggestions entirely in iOS. If you do not want to turn off Siri suggestions entirely from your iOS or iPadOS devices lock screen, there is an easy way to turn them off per-app.
Below the search bar is the same Siri app suggestion that you would find in a lock screen widget. You can use the Search function within the Settings app to quickly locate the Siri Suggestions section. You can customize the way Siri makes suggestions for each app and its contents by turning toggles under the While searching and suggestions sections on or off. If you think that Siri suggestions are an awesome feature for your iOS devices, but do not want specific apps in the suggested apps, you can disable suggestions for specific apps.
What are Siri app suggestions based on?
Siri Suggestions is a powerful search feature that suggests what you might want to do next. Its results are based on your device usage, including how often you may use apps and at what time of day. If you want to turn off suggestions related to an app, you would need to head into the relevant app —> Siri and search, then disable any toggles. Under Content from Apple & Siri suggestions from Apple, disable each of the Siri suggestions options that you wish to disable by tapping on their toggles: The toggles will become greyed out when they are turned off. Once you have finished flipping, an alert will pop up on your iOS device asking you whether you would like to disable Siri entirely. To stop Siri from ever making suggestions for an app, disable Learning From This App by tapping on the toggle.
Look for the suggestion from the Siri app in the list, and tap the red minus symbol located at the left of this option. Tap the red minus sign next to the Siri App Suggestions, and then select Remove. In the same Settings->Search & Siri menu, you will find toggles beside those options, as well as suggestions in lock screen.
The easiest way to remove all suggestions from Siri or suggested shortcuts from your Lock screen is by turning off the Suggestions on Lock Screen toggle located within Settings – > Siri & Search. For instance, if you are using the Roku app after work, Siri for iPhone will begin suggesting it to you from your iPhones lock screen at about this time.
