First, you should go to your card info. There is a different process for iPhones and iPads. Tap on the Verify Identity after selecting the Apple Cash Card Details or Card Details for iPad and iPhone respectively. Verifying or adding Cash App cards to Apple and Google Wallets is super simple, and can be done within minutes either from the Cash App Cash App or from the Apple Pay and Google Pay apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Money can also be transferred to the Cash Card in Apple Pay within Apple Wallet, and used as a debit card for online and retail purchases. Erste Bank, Sparkasse, N26, Bank Austria, and Raiffeisen Bank all support Apple Pay in Austria, so customers of those banks can add their credit cards and debit cards in the Wallet app to be used with Apple Pay. On May 5, 2021, Apple Pay launched in Israel, allowing customers with Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, Bank Massad, Bank Mizrahi-Tefahot, Israeli Discount Bank, and First International Bank of Israel, and with credit card holders from non-banks Isracard, CAL, and MAX to use Apple Pay with American Express, MasterCard, and Visa cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple Pay launched in Hong Kong on July 20, 2016, supporting debit and credit cards issued by Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, issued by Hang Seng Bank, Bank of China (Hong Kong), Bank of China (Hong Kong), DBS Bank (Hong Kong), HSBC, Standard Chartered, Standard Chartered, Citibank, Citibank, and American Express, as well as direct-from-American Express. Apple Pay launched in Germany on December 10, 2018, with Apple Pay available via American Express, Deutsche Bank, Viabuy, Consorsbank, Hanseatic Bank, HypoVereinsbank, Edenred, Comdirect, Fidor Bank, Sparkasse, Sparkassen-Karte, Commerzbank, and mobile banking and payments services O2, N26, bunq, and VIMpay. On January 28, 2017, Credibanco and Redeban Multicolor enabled contactless payments like Apple Pay; this is made possible with virtual prepaid card services like Boon Payment from Wirecard, Square Cash from Squareup, and Yandex Money. Their Instant Provisioning Service also allowed customers to begin using their bank services with Apple Pay even before they received physical cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Dot Bank, who provides the Apple Pay Cash Card and in-person payments, has to screen customers at Green Dot Bank in order to be compliant with federal laws. Once completed, information you provide via Apple Pay Cash is verified by Green Dot Bank using its Identity Verification Service Provider. In connection with this, you agree that, per our Privacy Policy, (i) Apple, the Apple Pay Technology Provider, which supports Apple Cash Card within Apple Pay, as well as Appleas subcontractors, agents, and affiliates, will be accessing certain information concerning your Apple Cash account and use of Services provided by you. If you make a purchase transaction using another currency other than US dollars, then the merchant, payment network for the Apple Cash Card, or other associations processing such transaction may convert any associated debits or credits to US dollars according to their then-current policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A verification process is required to verify that the person making the payment has authority over the card. If the users ID cannot be verified, the individual is blocked from using Apples peer-to-peer money-transfer service, though the <a href=\"https:\/\/howtoitech.com\/can-you-get-cash-back-with-apple-pay\/\">cash balance may still be used in conjunction with Apple Pay<\/a> to cover retail transactions. Adding or receiving $500 or more is an automatic identity check trigger, but Apple notes users can opt to have their identities verified before this limit. Apple does, however, state that you cannot send or receive more than $500 in total without confirming your identity. If you wish to send or receive more than $500, you must confirm your identity to Apple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to ensure that your efforts are going <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/support\/identity-verification\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/support\/identity-verification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unimpeded<\/a>, then you want to ensure that you have verified your identity with Apple. I believe that they must have more than enough on their records to confirm my identity. Apple says that the bank that Apple uses for Apple Pay Cash, Green Dot Bank, is legally required to get verification of users identities in order to prevent fraud and comply with U.S. financial regulations.
