Activate Apple Card

To Activate Apple Card, just open the wallet app on your iPhone and then tap on Apple card. Click on ‘More’ and tap Card detail. After that click on Activate Your Card. Tap “Having trouble activating your card.” Then to complete activation process, follow the instructions on your screen.

Now, tap Do not Have Card Packaging, and then follow the instructions that appear on the screen of your iPhone. Tap Activate, where you will see the notification saying a physical Apple card has been held to your iPhone next to its package. Because Apple is Apple, you are not calling a number to activate the card, everything is done via your iPhone.

The NFC sticker starts the connection between your new Apple card, made of titanium, and your iPhones Wallet app, which makes activating your card as easy as possible. Activating a titanium card is as easy as tapping some buttons on an iPhone, then placing your iPhone on top of a package that contains the hidden NFC tag. When delivered, users with iPhone XS and higher can activate a physical card by moving the phone close to a NFC tag tucked inside the cards packaging. The physical card does not show numbers on the front; instead, users are given a virtual 16-digit card number for websites and apps that do not accept Apple Pay.

The physical card will give 1% cash back to users, while the Virtual Card will provide 2 % cash back for Apple Pay purchases, and 3% cash back for purchases made on Apple. You can tap Request a New Card Number any time if you suspect that the current one has been compromised: You will immediately receive a new virtual number, no need to request a new physical card from Apple. When you sign up, you automatically gain access to a virtual card number that Apple has generated for you in Safari on iOS and on your Mac.

To activate the bank-issued card, you must call the bank and confirm the details, then the customer service representative will activate the card.
