Apple Music History
You can check out the music history on your iPhone. All you need to do is go to the Apple Music app, click on the more button, choose the settings and then turn on the listening history. From there, you may check your music history and can play it whenever you want.
Apple uses your listening habits and your Music app history to determine what songs make up your Apple Music Replay. Users are also given the option of viewing the songs, artists, and albums they played most throughout the year via a feature called Apple Music Replay, which is available under the “For You” tab.
Similar to Spotify Wrapped, you can view a retrospective view of what songs, albums, and artists you played most during each year. These playlists are made up of artists, bands, and songs that you have played the most. Listen to your favorite songs from any given year, and see artists behind these favorites, directly within the Music app on your iPhone and iPad.
You can access a Recently Played section of the Music app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or Apple TV, and swipe across covers of your most recently played albums, radio stations, or playlists. To see the Play History of your Library on an iPhone or iPad, open the Music app, tap on your currently playing track, and select the Up Next icon. To view your librarys play history on your Mac, select a song to play in History.
Play a song on Apple Music, and it is instantly added to your Recently Played History (shown under the For You tab on the Mac and iPhone). If you listened to a song saved locally in iTunes Music Library, that song will show up on that list as well. After you have launched Apple Music, taping on the Apple Music screen, you will see your entire library, complete with your Playlists and Artists, Albums and Songs, downloaded music, and newly added.
The Library is now at the top of the Spotify app — any music you have is accessible from that tab, and you can filter by Playlists, Artists, Albums, Songs, and downloaded Music with ease, in case you do not want to spend your precious mobile data. The best part about this new History function is the fact that you do not have to sign up for Apple Music, nor is it limited to songs streaming in Apple Music (though it is limited to songs within the Music app, so things from Spotify and other services clearly do not appear there). The apps implementation of Recently Played section was tricky to access through the Playlists menu, but there is now a new History feature which lets you see every song you have ever heard on Apple Music, directly from within the Playback menu.

Thanks to iOS 13.2, Apple Musics Now has a History page, which lets you see all of the songs you have listened to – in order – in a couple of taps and swipes. In addition to sharing a portion of the content you are listening to on Apple Music to those who you have specifically approved, you can manage a private Listening History on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The latter is quite convenient when you want to revisit a few songs that you recently enjoyed. Apple Music subscribers can set up a profile to share their music with friends, and follow other users to see the music they are listening to regularly.
Apples streaming service is a music and video streaming service developed by Apple Inc. Users choose the music they want to be streamed on-demand on their device, or can listen to existing playlists. The Apple streaming service offers personalized music recommendations tailored to the users taste in music, with curated playlists created by music experts. The service is compatible with iOS devices running versions 8.4 or later, iPadOS devices running versions 13.0 or later, the Music app in macOS Catalina or later, iTunes 12.2 or later on Windows PCs, and the Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple CarPlay, and the Apple HomePod.
Spotify has been available in other countries much longer. Even though Spotify has an app for iOS, because of the sheer number of devices that Apple sells in the US, users seem to simply default to whatever default music service is offered.
Unlike a traditional radio service, the Radio function on Apples streaming service allows users to skip songs, browse through songs played before in a station, and see songs playing next. The radio tab gives users access to hundreds of music stations that are hand-curated by Apple, broken down by genre, artist, and host.

Apple offers periodically updated personal playlists under the “For You” tab, including Favorite Mix, Chill Mix, Friends Mix, and New Music Mix, as well as other playlist options, which are updated daily. Recent updates have changed the former Start With For You location into a more complete Listen Now section, which recommends various pieces of music according to your listening history and other activities, including music sent to you by friends through the Messages app, all organized under a Share With You tab, which was added in iOS 15s updates.
If I listen to a bit of music via a playlist in Apple Music, I might want to revisit it to review what I heard, to listen to some songs again, to add to my own music library, or to explore other music by some of the artists that I heard. As a lover of music, I love sharing my playlists with friends, as well as discovering what is lighting them up.
Having proven adept at the human element, Apple Music seems to be on a mission to strengthen its algorithmic recommendations, with new features such as Replay, which brings back tracks that have been played most frequently over the course of a year in order to get you in a groove. On November 15, 2019, Apple released a new Apple streaming service feature called Apple Music Replay, which is a year-end playlist showing users their favourite tracks from the whole year, a similar feature to that of Spotifys called Spotify Wrapped.

The Apple Music app will offer playlists and audio content from the classical music service Primephonic, as well as enhanced viewing and searching capabilities for composers and repertory, better classical music metadata, and more. In the future, Apple plans to build a dedicated classical music app, which will blend Primephonics classics user experience with added features. According to a recent article from The Wall Street Journal, Apples U.S. subscriber base is growing by 5 percent per month, compared with just two percent growth for Spotify, currently ranked No. Apple Music, on the other hand, boasts over 90 million songs, a higher number than Spotifys current totals (though Spotify has been steadily catching up), as well as beating out upstart competitors such as Amazon Prime Music and Jay-Zs Tidal.

On November 24, 1967, at IBC Studios on Portland Place, John and Paul participated in their first recording session for the song Grapefruit. The band was signed on December 11, though.
