To download and use Apples Support app, you will have to be using either an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, and an iPad will have to be running iOS 13.1 or higher.

For instance, telephone service is not offered for cracked iPhone screens (which cannot be repaired by phone), and appointments at stores are not offered for issues with Apple IDs (where they cannot access your Apple ID credentials). Due to COVID precautions, appointments may be required at some Apple stores for visits to the Genius Bar.

I find the fastest, most convenient way to get answers to your support questions is a live chat with Apple.

If you are not comfortable with chats or talking with someone, and feel pretty confident about your tech skills, you may want to give the Apple support community a shot.
