The Apple Beta software program is now allowed access to the iOS 15 Beta, in which you sign up for your iPhone and get a chance to test out Apple’s OS months ahead of other users’ iPhones. When running iOS 15 Beta operating system on mainstream devices, Apple testers should still expect to encounter some difficulties with performance and stability.
The iOS 15 Beta Profile should now be installed on your iPhone, and you should be able to download the iOS 15 Developer Beta. If you are running either the Developer or Public Beta for iOS 15 or iPadOS 15, you should automatically be updated for the Public release.
My advice is if you are simply curious, wait for the first official release, and then jump into iOS 15.1 Beta. With that said, if you do not have patience for waiting months until a final version arrives in the fall, then your next-safest bet is to wait for the public iOS 16 beta, which is expected in July. Apple should be able to iron out any serious issues affecting the current Developer Builds before the public beta testers can get their hands on iOS 16.

Upgrading an iPhone to iOS 16 Beta The iOS 16 does indeed provide a first look at all of Apples latest updates to the iPhone OS, but it is also plagued by bugs and performance issues, which are common to all beta software. Before explaining how to download beta versions of iOS to an iPhone, we first have to explain the beta software situation.
If nothing is prompted to start downloading the beta software, open your Settings app, go to General, and then look for Software Update in order to install Apples iOS 15. Taking a backup while the iOS 16 beta is still installed is no use, as you cannot use it with iOS 15. To take advantage of this Continuity feature, you must upgrade your Mac to macOS Monterey 12.3 beta 1, or downgrade your iPad to iOS 15.4.

If you are more comfortable going back to a public release using the Finder on a Mac, that is a bit trickier, but still does the trick.
If you are not already registered as an Apple developer, you will have to do so here ($99/year). Unfortunately, this does not prevent casual users from paying the $99 fee and enrolling in Apples developer program in order to gain access to the Beta Profiles necessary for downloading iOS 16. Developer Beta Test Instead of being released to anyone who has an iPhone, the Public Beta is available to developers who have registered.
Looking at iOSs modern release history, then, we see that the second developer beta usually follows between two and three weeks after the first, with the first public beta following a week later. Even after deleting the iOS 15 Beta Profile and disabling myself from the Apple Beta Program, I am still getting this pesky notification about the iOS 15 Beta Update, and there is still an icon of it in my Settings.
Apple is dropping the microcontroller pairing requirement that disabled Face ID on the iPhone 13 models that had swappable displays, and the code suggests the change is coming to iOS 15.2 beta. Apple told The Verge today that Apple is rolling out a software update that changes the policy on iPhone 13, which caused Face ID to become unusable when repairs were made to the cracked display. The adjustment has not actually happened yet for me, although maybe now that iPadOS 15 is out of beta, I will be more diligent in using the distraction-fighting tools that Apple provides.
