Iphone Bluetooth

Contrary to popular belief, Bluetooth is available and functions properly in an iPhone for its users to make use of. You can access it by going to the settings app, and then clicking on the Bluetooth option. The newly appeared screen will have all your Bluetooth information available.

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless protocol (up to 300 feet) used for connecting, or pairing, devices with an iPhone. Bluetooth uses short-range radio signals to communicate with nearby devices.

Unlike Wi-Fi, which continuously broadcasts its availability, Bluetooth on Wi-Fi must be turned on in order for your iPhone or another device to become discoverable, so your iPhones can see one another. Tapping makes your iPhone discoverable, meaning that other devices that have Bluetooth turned on can see your iPhone. On the iPhone, you can pair, unpair, rename devices, and enable or disable Bluetooth.
