The Reminders app on Apple Watch allows you to create and manage reminders that sync with your iPhone. To do so, Find and tap the Reminders app icon. To create a new reminder, tap the “+” button in the top right corner of the screen. Once you’ve entered the reminder, tap “Done” to save it.

Apple says you can adjust or turn off Breathe reminders by opening Apple Watch on an iPhone and tapping on the “My watch” tab. To do so, open the Watch iOS app, and then head to A breathe > A Breathe reminder, and select how many reminders per day (between one and 10). For mindfulness, use the iPhone Watch app, and tap on Mindfulness > Add Reminders, then choose what time you want your breath session.

Tap the Medication reminders alert from the Health app on your iPhone, or open the Medication app on your Apple Watch, look for your medicine and time that you would like to enter, and tap on that. To log in your medications, use the following steps. To see the logs and history of your medications on the iPhone, open the Health app, tap View, then tap Medication. Your smartwatch is capable of notifying you, any time you have set a reminder in the associated iPhone. The reminder will continue to appear highlighted by a badge over the Reminders app icon, on the iPhone. The restriction is that you will get just a single reminder notification for as long as you have configured it, but you can adjust that on your iPhone.

Once you enable this reminder notification on your smartwatch, your iWatch will prevent you from sitting for very long; at regular intervals, you will get a reminder on the watch to get up and go for a little walk. It does not matter whether you turn on the reminder or turn it off; your standing activity will be shown in Activity Ring and anywhere else that your smartwatch has activity tracking.

If you sit down within the first 50 minutes of the hour, you will receive a notification to get up at least one minute to get standing ring credits. It is recommended that you leave your Time To Stand reminder on, because it will remind you to stand if you have been sitting for the first 50 minutes of an hour. Currently, you cannot change the time to stand reminder, which is set to give a gentle push every sitting hour, telling you to get moving within one minute.

If you are not a fan of these notifications, you can turn them off with just a couple of taps. We are very hopeful that Apple will in future let users disable stand-up reminders separately (except for Focus Mode) along with other reminders, to trigger them at the specified time for a user. It is limiting in that you cannot export reminders into Calendar to have greater control over the alerts, although there are third-party apps that can for this (dues and things are worth checking out).

This app by any.do actually offers a full-featured solution, allowing you to set up as many reminders as you like, and easily track them. Using Siri, you will find Siri (we even consider Siri to be an extremely kind lady) is smart enough to add reminders to a particular list within the official Reminders app. Since your smartwatch does not have an integrated Reminders app, Siri is the only option you have to add a new meeting in an iOS app.

Why don’t my Reminders show up on my Apple Watch?

Ensure that the same Apple ID is used for logging into iCloud on all of your devices. Check your iCloud settings to see if Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders are enabled. Make sure your device’s date and time settings are accurate for where you are right now.

How do I get Apple Reminders to alert me?

Select Today, Tomorrow, This Weekend, or press Date & Time to specify a different day and time. If you provide a reminder a due date but not a time, the notice will show up at 9:00 AM by default.
