Delete Apple Id Account

To delete Apple Id account, open a browser and navigate to privacy.apple.com. Enter your Apple ID email and password and answer a security question. On the Apple ID & Privacy page, select Continue. Choose Get Started under Delete Your Account. Select a reason for deleting your account and tap Continue.

If you are looking to remove an Apple ID because you changed your email address, instead, use this link to change the email address associated with your account. You will likely see the email address that you used to register an Apple ID on the front page of the Apple ID. Remember to log out of your Apple ID on all devices and web browsers before deleting your account.

Once you are done downloading or backing up all of your data, it is time to move forward with deleting your account for good. Once the removal process is completed, you can no longer access any data, content, or services associated with your Apple ID. Once you have deleted an Apple ID account, Apple cannot reopen or reactivate your account, nor restore any of your data, and you will no longer be able to access any of the content and services listed below.

Rather than delete data, a deactivation completely suspends access to the Apple ID, including any data associated with it. Deactivation is in and of itself not automatic account deletion, but instead is asking Apple to remove the account and associated data. Removes also means that all user data associated with the Apple ID stored in Apples servers would be deleted, including all photos, videos, documents, and other content stored on iCloud.

Deactivating an Apple ID means that you will lose access to your linked iCloud mail and drive storage, and any messages associated with that account. When you deactivate an Apple ID, you cannot access data you have stored on Apple services that use your Apple ID, like iCloud, the iTunes Store, Apple Books, the App Store, Apple Pay, iMessage, FaceTime, and Find My iPhone. Once your Apple ID is deleted, you cannot log out of iCloud or turn off Find My iPhone, and Apple can also stop you from using your device altogether after your account itself is deleted.

You will be unable to log into or use services like iCloud, Apple Books, App Store, Apple Pay, Messages, FaceTime, and Find My, or any other apps or services that you used with an account.

If you are using the same account for both iCloud and the iTunes Store, you will need to enter the password to your Apple ID. If you are using an iCloud account, you already have an Apple ID, and do not need to create a new one on an iOS or Mac device. Steps to delete/deactivate apple id account

You can log in to iOS devices from Settings and configure more than one Apple ID, and you can use it for various purposes such as contacts, emails, notes, bookmarks, etc. For example, you might have one personal Apple ID you use for App Store and iCloud, but another for business purposes, where you keep business or workplace contacts.

You will have to first log out from any devices and accounts you are signed into using an Apple ID, then log back in using the new accounts email and password. If you discover you would like to sign back into your account, you will need to go to Apples privacy landing page, then complete the steps on screen to activate your account again. Once you confirm account information and identity, and you are clear about all of what is going to be gone when your current Apple ID account is deleted, the manager or supervisor may choose to remove your Apple ID, per your request.

From there, Apple will look at the request to make sure the person trying to delete the account is, in fact, you. The review process could take up to seven days, according to Apple, and by then, the account — along with any data attached — would have been deleted. For security reasons, Apple will verify an account removal request before proceeding, and it could take up to seven days to perform the removal.

Once you have successfully started the delete process, either online or by contacting Apple Support, Apple will confirm you are the account owner making the request. If you reach Apple support, and you give them a unique code, you can ask that deletions stop.

You will see that all Apple Store appointments and AppleCare support cases are cancelled, and that the deletion of the account is permanent, meaning that you cannot get back your data later if you change your mind. Because the deletion of Apples iCloud emails is permanent, be sure to download any files you have on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Computer, and iCloud.

Now that you have deleted the associated email addresses and saved anything you need from the iCloud and iCloud Mail, you are ready to delete the current Apple ID account. If you would like to move on from Apple ID and stop using Apple ID, but are not necessarily ready to fully remove your data and your access to Apple services, you may want to opt for turning off your iCloud account instead.

Deleting your Apple ID will also remove any content stored on your iCloud account and remove your access to Apple services. While the Apple ID is necessary to use iOS devices, if you are leaving Apples device ecosystem, you may wish to remove your iCloud account in order to clear up your digital footprint. Apple also gives you the option of turning off your Apple ID account if you do not want to permanently delete it, and you can turn it back on at any time.

Apple deletes the account details associated with an Apple ID, permanently discarding it and making it inaccessible to all of Apples services, like the App Store, iTunes, Apple Pay, iMessage, and any content you have bought or downloaded from these services. Apple does not remove all data associated with an account, such as transactional information used in financial reports or information necessary to satisfy court orders. The ultimate outcome is virtually identical to that of deleting the account, since the effect of deleting is virtually the same for users, with the exception that there is an option to return an Apple ID to service, leaving all data untouched.

What happens if I delete Apple ID?

Your Apple ID and all of the information linked with it are deleted if you do so. Following that, you won’t be able to log in with your Apple ID on any iPhone, iPad, Mac, iCloud web, or other device. Your whole fleet of Apple devices won’t sync or update their info. Your iPhone or iPad can no longer be backed up to iCloud.

Of course, someone might be attacking the account, or there might be an issue with the account itself.
