To screenshot on an iPad without using the home button, one way is to use the Assistive Touch feature. Another way is to use Siri. Finally, you can also use the volume up and power button method. Simply press and hold both buttons at the same time and then release.
To use the basic iPhone screen capture method with no Home Button, you need to turn on AssistiveTouch on your iPhone. If you capture the screenshot on an iPad using the buttons described above, and you do not see a thumbnail immediately, no worries. Using the hardware buttons is the obvious way to capture a screenshot on an iPad.
The process for taking a screenshot of an iPad differs a bit from model to model, but regardless of the iPad you are rocking, it is a matter of clicking a pair of buttons simultaneously. Depending on the iPad model you have, your combination of buttons to screenshot may differ. If you are running an older iPad model, or one of Apples latest entry-level iPads, and still have a Home button available, that is used in place of the Volume buttons for screenshot purposes.

If you break the Home, Power, or Volume buttons on your iPhone, you can use AssistiveTouch to perform all of the basic functions of the iPhones Home button, including taking screenshots. You can drag an AssistiveTouch button onto any corner of your screen you want when not using it. Tap on Touch, and then tap AssistiveTouch, and enable AssistiveTouch by tapping on its toggle on top of the screen.

Set the specific action to screenshot, then you can tap twice or three times to capture the screen. Now, using a custom action that you have assigned for screenshot, iOS 15 will capture a picture of your current screen. Just like before, the screen will blink white, and the screenshot is taken.
From here, you can use the default settings to capture the screenshot, tapping on the button, and going to Device > More > Screenshot. Select where you would like to save your full-page screenshot, then tap on the save button to save. If you chose Save your screenshot in files, it will be instead located in whatever folder you chose in the selection screen.
From that list, scroll down and look for the option that says “Screenshot” to set this to your Shortcut. If you prefer, you can add one more icon by tapping on the Plus button and creating a new shortcut for Screenshot. Simply choose Screenshot in the AssistiveTouch menu, or execute your assigned shortcut with tap, and your iPhone takes the screenshot.
Or, to make things even easier, you can configure one of the custom actions (Single-Tap, Double-Tap, or Long-Press) to take the screenshot, navigating to their respective menus from the AssistiveTouch settings page. For those that do not know, AssistiveTouch feature is accessibility feature by Apple that helps users that cannot tap on screen or tap a button on the device. It is available on the iPhone, your iPad, and iPod touch, and you can use it for a variety of things, such as volume adjustment, locking, resizing, rebooting your device, and even screenshotting your screen.
You are going to need to be fast, though, and AssistiveTouch is going to be a choice for screenshot sources that are larger than one page in length. Once you have gone to General, then Accessibility, then AssistiveTouch, and enabled it, you should then head over to the top menus of Customize, and add the Screenshots button.
