How To View Hidden Photos On Mac
On your Mac, click Library in the sidebar of the Photos programme. Select Show Hidden Photo Album under View. The sidebar displays the Hidden album. After selecting the pictures you wish to see, select Image > Unhide [number] Pictures. Use Touch ID or your password to unlock the Hidden album if it is locked.
If you used any of the methods mentioned above for viewing hidden files on your Mac, you should be able to see this. If you would like fast access to the Library folder of Mac, then you will be able to access it if you use one of the methods above for showing hidden files and folders.
That way, your hidden /Library folder will stay visible for you until you close the Finder window. You should see any files hidden within a folder immediately on the Mac, as well as any later folders that you open. If you have hidden your folder, then by default, files inside that folder are not hidden.
Keep in mind, as we mentioned before, there is a reason why a lot of files and folders are hidden on your Mac. First, you have to realize that certain files are hidden on macOS specifically to protect them from being deleted. There are even special apps available to allow regular files to be hidden, to allow them to be protected against unauthorized access.

Mac systems let you hide photos and videos in the hidden album, making them disappear from the Library, Albums, or even from the Photos widget, if you have enabled it on the Start screen. To clarify, this is just hiding the picture from view on plain sight within the Photos app on the Mac, just like you can hide photos from plain sight on iPhone and iPad using a dedicated Hidden Photos album. The hidden images would be contained by themselves, and the view will not look the same as normal album view, although Macs Photos app will let you access them. These hidden images will be self-contained and separated from regular album views, although they will still be easy to access through Photos on Mac.
Users can easily locate the hidden albums through a few methods for hiding photos. Once the following steps are completed, the album called Hidden will not appear in the Apple Photos app; be warned, however, that you will still see the hidden album when using image picker tools in third-party apps, so it is not entirely hidden from public view. You can also choose Image>Unhide Photos in the menu-bar or hit Command-L. Select the photo that you would like to show, and then choose Image > Unhide Photo[Number]. To unhide a photo, you can either use the keyboard shortcut Command-L, or select Unhide Photos in the Photos menu options.
Once you have selected the photo or video that you would like to unhide, tap on the Share option. When a photo or video is opened full-screen, at the bottom left, click the Share icon. All you have to do is choose which picture you would like to hide, then tap on the small menu icon at the bottom left corner of your screen.
