The X-Ray function on Kindle, for those of you who do not yet get the opportunity to use it, provides sort of an encyclopedia-and-dictionary-in-one for every book you are reading. It is also hugely useful when reading a series that has tons of different books, and references hundreds of names and places.

You can expect to find X-Ray enabled on a lot of modern books that you will purchase for the Kindle, but Beyond the Book is relatively rare, even among the current best-sellers. Until I found out about XRays feature on Kindle, I thought that this feature was available only on Kindle-sold e-books.
