How To Cancel AppleCare?

It is extremely easy to cancel your AppleCare plan if you dont have any use of it or for any other reason. All you have to do is cancel the AppleCare plan from your accounts settings. However, it is necessary that you have your account completely set up before being able to do this.

Do not worry if you paid in full for an AppleCare plan, you can still cancel it and you can either get a full refund or you can get a partial refund depending on when you cancel. You can generally get a full refund if you paid the total amount, provided that you cancel the AppleCare plan within 30 days of purchasing it.

If AppleCare is paid in full and cancelled within 30 days of purchase of the plan, then the customer gets a full refund, less any service values provided, if any. When you cancel your monthly plan, just cancel your subscription, and there is no longer any charge on your account. When canceling a one-time plan, you may be able to receive a refund for the services not used.

How big a refund you will receive will depend on which plan you are on (monthly payment or one-time purchase) and your memberships expiration date. The first thing to know is that if you paid AppleCare Plus coverage up front and in full, you will have to contact Apple support directly to cancel your Protection Plan, instead of doing so via the Settings app on your iPhone, as shown below.
