To activate Siri in Mac OS Sierra, go to the Apple menu at the top left of your main menu bar. From there, select System Preferences and then click on the Siri icon. On the left side of your screen, you will see an option for ‘Show Siri in Menu Bar’. Tick this box and a color Siri icon will appear in the far right of your menu bar.

To change Siri’s voice, you can go to the Siri & Dictation section in System Preferences and choose from several different options. You can also summon Siri’s help by using a keyboard shortcut or by using the menu bar icon located in the upper right corner of your Mac’s screen. When you summon her, a window appears with a beep and she is ready to take your commands. With macOS Sierra, Apple has made it darned sight cooler for users to interact with their virtual assistant. You can now talk to Siri without having to press any buttons or use any keyboard shortcuts; just click on her bar icon and say ‘Hey Siri’ followed by your command.
