Facebook’s profile locking option is not available in every country, so if you cannot see it, you will need to wait until Facebook rolls the feature out to your country. You may face difficulties to enable the feature, since it is geographically restricted to certain regions.
If Facebook has introduced the feature in your geographic area, you may want to put a lock on your profile via Profile Settings. In a new update on Facebook, Facebook has removed the option to lock a profile. When you go to Your Profile > Three Dots Button > Lock profile, this option is no longer available. In the latest update of the app, Lock was added in order to keep your private information safe from those that are not friends.

It is 11th of November, 2021, and I received the latest update to Facebook, and noticed Facebook added a profile locking option to Settings. This includes new as well as old photos, and the social media giant, Facebook has also added a badge to the profile page that warns users their profiles are locked.
Now, the concept might not be obvious by the name itself, and basically, locking restricts who and how someone sees your Social media giants Facebook profile, which could be a good add-on for your privacy if you do not want any unwanted attention on the platform. Locking will prevent anyone (except your Facebook friends) to look at your private data like photos, videos, etc. In case, you are unaware of how this works, In this tutorial, I am going to tell you how to lock Facebook profile on your iPhone using an app.
No one but your Facebook friends will be able to tap your profile photo or cover photo of your FB profile and view it full-size. No one can zoom into a profile picture or keep a picture uploaded, and no one will be able to access private information such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. If you ever wish to unlock your profile, click on the triple-dot menu > Unlock profile > Unlock profile > Unlock profile. If you ever want to return your locked profile back to its original state, then you can do so simply by tapping on the triple-dots menu and going to Unlock Profile. To do this in-app, run the app on your phone or tablet, tap the triple-dots horizontally once more to unlock the profile, and press the triple-dots near the Edit profile button once more.
Open the Facebook app and tap your profile Now, tap the three-dot menu next to the “Add to story” section. Inside your iPhone, head to your Profile page by tapping on the triple-bar icon > See Your Profile. On the profile page, under your name, under the tab row, tap on the three dots (which are at the far right end of the tabs list).
